Celeris Systems Inc. Awarded SBIR Phase II to Advance HAWK Predictive Analytics Module
ANAHEIM, CA - August 1, 2025 - Celeris Systems Inc., a leader in advanced predictive analytics and resource management solutions, has been awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II award to further develop and transition its HAWK (Holistic Asset Wellness & Knowledge) Predictive Analytics Module into operational use. This milestone builds upon the successful completion of Phase I and marks a significant step toward delivering a production-ready capability to the Department of Defense (DoD).
The Phase II award supports the full-scale integration of HAWK into Celeris’ iRIS platform, which is already widely deployed across DoD programs, including the U.S. Space Force. By harnessing patented AI/ML algorithms, IoT-enabled sensors, and real-time data analysis, HAWK provides predictive insights that empower program managers to anticipate and mitigate potential maintenance issues before they impact mission-critical operations.
“Securing a Phase II award demonstrates strong confidence in our ability to deliver lasting impact for the DoD,” said Angel Martinez, President and CEO of Celeris Systems Inc. “HAWK is a game-changer for predictive maintenance and resource management, and this investment accelerates our mission to improve asset readiness in alignment with GAO’s recommendations for advanced maintenance strategies.”
HAWK’s Phase II enhancements include advanced anomaly detection, deeper failure pattern analytics, and optimized maintenance scheduling designed to reduce unplanned downtime by up to 20% and cut maintenance costs by 15%. The system’s seamless integration with the DoD-approved iRIS platform ensures rapid deployment, scalability, and interoperability across programs managing assets valued at over $3 billion.
This Phase II effort underscores Celeris’ commitment to strengthening national defense capabilities while also pursuing dual-use applications for the commercial sector. With this award, Celeris is positioned to accelerate the rollout of HAWK, equipping the DoD with a decisive technological advantage in sustaining mission readiness amidst evolving global threats.
