Anaheim, CA,. March 23, 2023 - Celeris CEO Angel Martinez visited Melbourne Elementary to participate in the annual career day event. The main goal of his visit was to inspire and motivate young students to pursue engineering degrees and explore the numerous rewarding career opportunities available in the aerospace industry. During his visit, Mr. Martinez discussed various aspects of the engineering field, including education requirements, potential salary levels, and different job types available. He also emphasized the importance of taking relevant classes in middle and elementary school to better prepare for a college education in engineering.

Recognizing the potential for high earnings and abundant job opportunities in engineering, Mr. Martinez believes that more students should consider pursuing it as a career option. “As a company, Celeris is dedicated to promoting STEM education among young students and inspiring their interest in the field through engaging initiatives. Our hope is to inspire as many children as possible to pursue a career in engineering and do our part to help close the gap in STEM worker shortage," said Mr. Martinez.

Experts predict that the talent shortage in STEM careers will reach "severe" or "crisis levels" in the U.S. labor market in the coming years. Hence, it is essential to encourage and inspire young students to pursue careers in these fields to meet the growing demand for skilled workers in STEM industries.
