17-0304 Logistics Analyst

The Logistic Analyst will support Heavyweight and Lightweight Torpedo supply support and logistics support functions for NAVAL UNDERSEA WARFARE CENTER, KEYPORT. This position specifically supports torpedo hardware production tracking using Torpedo Enterprise applications. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: torpedo production hardware asset tracking from production acceptance test and evaluation to ready for issue (RFI) status. Support of fleet inventory analysis. Support torpedo production and acceptance shipping and receiving processes and documentation. Support the input and closeout of, Torpedo Management Information System (TMIS) Reports to Torpedo Enterprise wide databases such as the Heavyweight Torpedo Technical Data System (HTTDS) and the Automated Process Control System (APCS). Maintain status of existing hardware purchases and configuration management of existing program hardware. The candidate must demonstrate a general working knowledge of hardware and software inventory management, maintenance and reconciliation of records as well as the general understanding of logistics including systems readiness, analysis and monitoring of logistics readiness. Knowledge of government contracting related to material and service support contracts is desired. Ability to communicate in writing and verbally on technical issues related to logistics systems. A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines is desired.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated, have an aptitude in the Logistics field, is able to work independently or part of a team, has good computer skills, has a willingness to follow company and regulatory policies, and desires to learn new skills. The position is located and supports NUWC Keyport, WA.
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Prior Undersea Warfare Logistics experience is preferred. Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks. Applicants are required to hold an active secret security clearance.

Wage/Salary: This is a full time position, wages commensurate with experience.
