17-0303 Aviation Electro-Mechanical Maintenance

Candidate supports U.S. Navy operations at Keyport, WA, primarily in aircraft component maintenance. Position includes functionally test, trouble-shoot, repair, solder or rework, calibrate, inspect and certify military electrical linear and rotary aviation actuator motor assemblies. Duties include preparing and maintaining associated component maintenance documentation. Candidate performs duties using regular test equipment in accordance with prescribed procedures, practices and specifications. 
Successful candidate will be self-motivated, have an aptitude for electro-mechanical devices, preferably aircraft experience with any of the following T-38, F/A-18, C-130, B-52, F-15, F-16, A6, S3, or similar aircraft, is able to work independently or part of a team, has good computer skills, has a willingness to follow company and regulatory policies, and desires to learn new skills.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Very desirable to have prior training and/or work experience in Military aircraft control surface linear actuator repair, calibration and soldering. Must have knowledge of the scopes and limitations of various categories of electronic test equipment and their applications to the contract unit. Must be capable of using and reading blueprints, wiring diagrams and data tables. Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks. 
Will be required to pass a U.S. Government background security check or hold an active security clearance. This position is controlled by the Service Contract Act (SCA) and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). 

Wage/Salary: This is a full time position, wages commensurate with experience.
