17-0301 Logistic Analyst (Information Technology)

The IT Logistic Analyst will support the U.S. Navy operations Range Test Systems Development by performing Information Technology supply and logistics support functions for NAVAL UNDERSEA WARFARE CENTER (NUWC), KEYPORT, WA. This position performs aspects of IT technical supply management work (e.g., software licensing management, IT procurement support and IT configuration management). 
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to Maintenance/scheduling of existing software licensing renewals, maintenance of assigned computer related hardware inventories, research of computer software and hardware purchases, use of the Navy's NAV-ITAS web portal, and configuration management of existing program hardware. 
The candidate must demonstrate a general working knowledge of the Information Technology field including, but not limited to: workstation inventory control, licensing control of software assets, maintenance of software license records, hardware and software inventory management, maintenance and reconciliation of records as well as the general understanding of logistics including systems readiness, analysis and monitoring of logistics readiness. Knowledge of government contracting related to material and service support contracts is desired. 
 
Ability to communicate in writing and verbally on technical issues related to IT and logistics systems. A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines is desired. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have an aptitude in the Information Technology field, is able to work independently or part of a team, has good computer skills, has a willingness to follow company and regulatory policies, and desires to learn new skills. The position is located and supports NUWC Keyport, WA. 
 
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Prior Logistics/Information Technology experience is preferred. Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks. 

Wage/Salary: This is a full time position, wages commensurate with experience.
