Celeris Systems in association with The Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (HCCEF), completed sponsorship of round robin visits to local high schools to encourage students to pursue scientific studies.

Anaheim California (May 27, 2008) – Celeris Systems in association with the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (HCCEF), recently visited several Orange County high schools to enlighten students on a career in the Aerospace Industry. The objectives of the visits were to expose students to the engineering discipline and to educate them on what it takes to become an aerospace engineer. Topics such as educational requirements and compensation were discussed as well as the types of engineers and projects there are in the aerospace industry. An overview of the various Department of Defense (DoD) Missile Defense programs was also discussed, including a video demonstrating missile defense technologies and applications. This was followed by a question-answer session which allowed both students and faculty to inquire further into their specific areas of interest.

The high schools visited were Valencia High in Placentia, Santiago High in Garden Grove and Los Amigos High in Fountain Valley.
